This is a decent keyboard for young beginners (8-12 years), but in my opinion, is not older than 12 years. The first thing that I found the sound quality is terrible on this unit is cheap compared to Yamaha YPT-310. (I also used Shure SCL4 is to test it). However, the keyboard is not the best YAMAHA keys (the keys are always semi-weighted) and have good action. I noticed that when I practice on this keyboard is much easier in some songs (Fur Elise is what has come to,I think the fast part of a lot easier on your keyboard) If you more about how the keyboard sounds is then concentrated to you. I would suggest you get Yamaha YPT-310 through it, if you want the sound. This keyboard also has MIDI IN / OUT, but has a USB port (I tried). Note that I buy a pack, so I can not stand on, the headphones included with this package in comment.
